Will this satisfy the pro-life crowd?

I don’t think so.

Folks should read the intelligent comments at the linked TPM article. The ruling is narrow (court had issues with MA overreaching regulations about public property) and plenty of outs including commentary that localities can issue regulations if harassment is continuing.

Any ruling that unanimous I have to respect and consider that they know more about the Constitution than lay people like us.

An absolutely terrible decisions by the Supreme Court.

What about the rights of the women who don’t want to be subjected to the protestors’ abuse?

Also worth noting-

Abortion rights supporters said it was ineffective, since they claimed it led to blocked entrances and a gauntlet of protesters surrounding patients and staff.

So will this invalidate buffer zones around the political conventions? I would think so.

They won’t be satisfied until they can just crowd into the operating room and block all the equipment.

Why the hell is something like this a 9-0 decision? That’s what I don’t get.

I can see the Court’s resistance to buffering people off of public property like sidewalks. But the existing law was in place because two people were shot and killed by a clinic protester.

It’s a shame that most zoning boards would probably prevent clinics from buffering themselves with private sector land purchases.

As someone who used to volunteer as an escort at an abortion clinic, these are the conditions we worked under already. The harassment is evil and pernicious, but buffer zones are a problem—they’d be a problem around churches, too.

I do think that localities should regulate further to deal with specific situations, but broad-based prior restraint isn’t a good idea.

Those aren’t “buffer zones.” Those are “security perimeters.”

This. If the results of this ruling are horrible, this reflects only on your Constitution, not on the SCOTUS.
